The client: CBRE Global Investors is one of the leading real estate investment managers with $106bln assets under management across 20 countries.

 The context:  The work CBRE GI undertake on behalf of their clients and stakeholders is highly specialist and best in class.  In financial uncertain times they secure commercial real estate with significant capital and yield upside and secure long term lease holders such as Amazon, Apple and McDonalds.  Its a careful balancing act that requires a deep understanding of the market and meticulous research and discretion. 

 The brief: The discreet nature the private investment industry requires that much of CBREs work goes on behind the scenes.  With many high level stakeholders to satisfy CBRE GI wanted to provide a ground level insight in the extensive efforts they make to deliver results and honour their mandate. 

 The proposal: We began by identifying CBRE GI’s target audience - current and potential investors, partners, developers, senior management and blue chip retail clients.  They needed to experience the care, attention to detail, high level operational execution and exceptional results.  In order to tell this brand story we earmark events that showcase how CBRE works to secure blue chip retail clients and what a successful commercial investment project looks like.  

The result: The videos produced are used to instigate, develop and deepen relationships with target stakeholders through private presentations and seminars as well as Linkedin and Whatsapp.  Telling the story of the life cycle of a deal whilst maintaining privacy has enabled CBRE GI to unearth new opportunities and cement their position as a trusted and value driven organisation.

Hub120 is a Xm2 industrial unit in Birmingham, UK. As is the case from time to time an agreed long term property lease did not complete due to market changes.  In order to avoid having a empty property on their books the CBRE GI midlands team worked tirelessly to find a new tennant.

Part of the strategy was to relaunch the property in order to engage local agents and reconnect then with the Hub120 proposal.  A relaunch event was organised within weeks that delivered a highly memorable experience whist providing agents with key information in order to help them to align the Hub120 proposal wit that of potential tennants.  

Off the back of this event Hub120 was able to secure a long term lease and is now off the market and being fitted out.

CovX is an industrial unit in COventry, UK.  After going into administration the building was left in a bad state that required extenstive refurbishment and additional development. A lease was agreed with a major food distributer that required the building to be fully operational within 12 months. The industry standard is 24 month.

CBRE assessed the requirments of the tennant and appointed a specialist buildings contrator to carry out the work whilst managing the relationships with all stakeholders.

The project was delivered on time and within budget and sealed with a high profile opening ceremony attended by all connected with the project.
